Kindergarten and First Grade Registration for the 2012-2013 will take place on Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, in the District Office Boardroom.  If you are unable to register on this date, there will be future registration dates for all grades on: Thursday, April 26, 2012, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 28, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, and Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, all in the District Office Boardroom.

 

There will be "last-chance" walk-in registration Monday through Thursday, July 30 through August 2, and August 6th through 9th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the District Office.  Please be advised that all documentation must be completed by Friday, August 10, 2012, in order for your child to start school on the first day. 

 

The first day of school for the 2012-2013 school year is Tuesday, August 21, 2012.

STEP 3:  Gather and Bring the Following Documents.  

1. CURRENT PROPERTY TAX BILL OR CURRENT LEASE AGREEMENT OR CLOSING ESCROW STATEMENT;
   AND
   4 CURRENT UTILITY BILLS (electric, gas, water, trash, cable, telephone [not cell phone])
   are required for proof of residency in the San Marino Unified School District.  PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL AND A COPY OF THESE DOCUMENTS.
    

2. BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND/OR PASSPORT
   for certification of birth date.  PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL AND A COPY OF THIS DOCUMENT.
    

3. SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
   if applicable.  PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL AND A COPY OF THIS DOCUMENT
    

4. COMPLETE, UP-TO-DATE, IMMUNIZATION RECORD
   signed by a physician. All the immunizations required by the State of California are listed in the registration packet. Our district strictly enforces the “NO SHOT - NO SCHOOL” policy.  PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL AND A COPY OF THIS DOCUMENT.
     

6. REPORT OF HEALTH OF EXAMINATION FOR SCHOOL ENTRY,
   for Kindergarten and First Grade only, is required by the State of California and must be completed and signed by a physician.
